Your Role
  • Develop and help execute product and feature enhancements that aim at improving's market penetration, usage and profitability
  • Provide inputs to’s product processes and systems so that they are compliant to internal and regulatory standards, competitive, efficient and cost effective
  • Develop and execute a strategic product plan. Develop, maintain, and fully understand product descriptions, including how the products work from start to finish
  • Implement business strategy/initiatives and achieve profit targets that are aligned with the the business strategies
  • Research new and existing payment products. Monitor industry trends, including researching competitor practices and pricing
  • Develop annual plans and ongoing forecasts, including identification of variances and development of corrective tactics as they develop (across both short and longer-term horizons)
  • Understand cardholder lifecycle management, recommend and champion product development, product enhancements, product elimination, margin or retention improvement actions and additional new revenue opportunities
  • Work with Marketing to develop strategic promotional programs to increase card penetration, usage and that deliver the highest value to cardholders while maximizing program returns
  • Foster relationships with third party providers that assist the in delivering best in class solutions and results as well as ensure optimum customer service, quality, accuracy and responsiveness
  • Work with all levels of management in product development, as well as collaborate with internal departments on evaluation, implementation launch, and ongoing servicing
  • Assist Management to evaluate the results and performance and prepare the post campaign tracking report with analytic recommendations and workable solutions for management to improve the overall business performance
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of market’s regulatory trends and work with partners, regulatory bodies and affiliated associations to ensure management is aware of advances and compliant with all new and proposed regulatory changes
  • Develop and expand local and regional loading method strategies
  • Serve as lead contact for compliance functions as related to card specific compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry
  • In depth knowledge of card payment industry
  • Knowledge of payment card issuing, acquiring, ATM networks, and payment card schemes.
  • Knowledge of and ability to analyze major network interchange structure and processing Customer service orientation
  • Ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees, and senior management
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis
  • Knowledge of financial institution risk assessment, risk mitigation, and internal control practices
  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities, and execute action plans in order to meet organization goals and deadlines

  • Preferred Domain Exposure: Knowledge of Cards; Debit, Credit and Prepaid Card Production and Usage; Acquiring platforms including POS and e-com acquiring; Wallet & PPI products
  • Basic knowledge on other web and online applications
  • Interchange and Dispute Management functions
  • Bachelor’s degree. A MBA or Master in related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years experience in relevant fields such as Banking, Card industry or Payment processing, Wallets, PPI.
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in Debit and Prepaid Card Issuing and Acquiring or Switch and payment gateway will be given preference
  • Experience working with Excel and developing and maintaining various analyses and reporting tools
  • Proven ability to bridge technology and business goal to innovate productive solutions to the required stake holders.
  • Excellent communicator with emphasis on building strong relationships with Marketing, IT and Operations personnel.
  • Quick learner who can rapidly adapt to emerging technologies.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook.
